Drago Jančar in Eurozine
The latest issue of the netmagazine Eurozine includes musings on the idea of “Central Europe” by Drago Jančar. The essay, entitled “Central Europe: Utopia or Reality?”, was first published in the British literary journal Orient Express, which devoted its entire 5 (2004) issue to contemporary writing from Slovenia. That issue included prose and poetry by many Slovene literary luminaries, including Tomaž Šalamun, Brane Možetič, Aleš Debeljak and of course Jančar. Orient Express is not available on the internet, but the table of contents can be found here.
